Skilled workers from abroad

Our mission is to maintain and strengthen the competitiveness of Saxon SMEs. The growing shortage of skilled workers is one of the biggest challenges we face. Almost half of all occupational groups in Germany are currently facing skilled worker shortages – by 2060, there will be a third fewer people in employment (source: Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy).

We support companies in finding suitable trainees and in integrating and training international skilled workers. We have been successfully recruiting from Europe and third countries for many years. Through various measures, we facilitate the integration of foreign trainees and skilled workers into the Saxon labour market and their long-term retention in companies.

Successful integration in Saxony

Integration in Saxony is an important goal for all of us. We offer bespoke language and vocational integration programmes for migrants to help them get off to a successful start in Saxony.

Our language courses are designed not only to teach you the German language, but also to equip you with specific skills for everyday life and work. With our BAMF integration courses at levels A2/B1, you will learn to find your way around everyday life in Germany – whether it's shopping, visiting the doctor, childcare or looking for work and training.

For a deeper understanding of the language and improved communication skills, we offer B2 language courses in various cities such as Döbeln, Dresden, Freiberg, Meissen, Plauen, Riesa, Schwarzenberg and Werdau. Completing the B2 level is crucial for gaining a foothold in the German job market.

For those who have difficulty finding work in their chosen profession or do not have a formal qualification, we offer TQplus. Here you have the opportunity to acquire professional knowledge and receive additional support, such as German or mathematics lessons. With a combination of theoretical lessons at bsw and practical experience in companies, we support you on your way to professional integration.
