Lifelong Learning Made in Saxony

The bsw is internationally engaged in promoting the exchange of knowledge, experience and best practices in vocational training. Through cooperation with international partners, the bsw contributes to improving the quality of training, strengthening the employability of skilled workers and promoting the internationalisation of Saxony's economy.
As part of development cooperation programmes, the bsw works with educational institutions and organisations in emerging and developing countries to exchange best practices, improve the quality of training and ensure that training systems are adaptable to the requirements of the global labour market. One example is the development of curricular framework plans and training concepts that meet local needs and requirements. This helps to improve the quality of vocational education and training and ensure that trainees have the relevant knowledge and skills that are in demand on the labour market.
Participation in European education programmes such as Erasmus+ enables trainees, teachers and training experts to gain international experience, acquire new knowledge and skills and expand their professional network.
