Cooperate – Together for better pandemic management in nursing care

How can nursing professionals be better prepared for future pandemics?

The Erasmus+ cooperation project Cooperate provides a practical answer to this question: Together with partner organisations from Italy, Greece, Poland and Spain, we have developed a continuing education course for nursing professionals that specifically prepares them for the challenges of healthcare during a pandemic.

Project goal

The aim of the project was to develop a high-quality online course on pandemic management that could be used throughout Europe. The course is aimed at both nursing staff and healthcare managers, helping them to act confidently and competently in crisis situations.

What has been implemented?

  • Analysis of European training standards in the health sector to identify gaps in pandemic-related qualifications
  • Development of a digital C-VET course for pandemic management – practical, multilingual and flexible to use
  • Preparation of a technical course description, including learning objectives, content, qualifications and career prospects
  • Provision of learning content online in all languages of the partner countries
  • Launch of a project website for the dissemination and free use of course materials
